Aquatrine is the Ministry of Defence’s (MOD’s) GB-wide water and wastewater Public Private Partnership (PPP) contract.

Aquatrine is a partnering contract bringing together the MOD’s department responsible for Aquatrine – Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) with its three water and wastewater service providers (Severn Trent Services, Ancala Water Services and Veolia Water Nevis), allowing the MOD to focus on its core duties.

Aquatrine provides water and wastewater services through the operation and maintenance of these assets on circa. 4,000 MOD sites across Great Britain. All three service providers utilise many years of water industry expertise allowing them to provide improved services and efficiencies across the Defence Estate and ensuring the MOD’s performance in environmental compliance and sustainability is maintained to a high standard.
